SUSAN SCHOON
LAWYER
Susan graduated Magna Cum Laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2004, and immediately went into private practice defending citizens accused of crime. Susan handles defense of all state criminal charges, mainly in Comal, Guadalupe,Hays and Caldwell Counties. She also assists persons throughout Texas in appealing their convictions.
Susan is a criminal law specialist, having achieved Board Certification in 2016.
Susan loves dogs (she has 5 rescues), the Dallas Cowboys (favorite player ever--Jay Novacek), Gruene Hall and Shiner Beer!

Leanne Jones has been working with Susan Schoon for ten years as paralegal and office manager. She excels at taking care of client needs, and running an efficient office. Leanne handles all documents, schedules appointments, drafts motions, handles billing/collection, and maintains Susan's court calendar, among many other duties. She grew up in New Braunfels, attended Texas State University, and spends her free time pursuing her passions for photography and traveling the world on a budget.
